Know your Bible
A pastor was finishing his sermon one Sunday morning. He said to the congregation: "Next Sunday I will be preaching on the subject of lying. I would like everyone to read chapter 17 of the gospel of Mark."
The following Sunday, as the pastor was about to begin his sermon, he asked the congregation: "How many of you read chapter 17 of Mark, like I asked?"
Many hands went up, "You are the very ones I need to speak to," said the pastor. "Mark only has 16 chapters."
